Tracy Arabski

Director

Oversees Health Research Services (HRS), which provides value-added service to the Faculty of Health Sciences community through provision of professional and timely research administrative and core facility services. Support ranges from guiding researchers through the research funding application process to effectively bringing awarded projects into operation.
Michelle Czerwinski

Associate Director, Research Administration & Infrastructure

Manages HRS resources, budget, and Institutional Initiatives for FHS through:

  • identification of strategic allocation of institutional initiatives
  • develop and maintain HRS budget envelope
  • review and editing of grant submissions
Julie Croskill

Research Grants Manager

Primary Contact for: Canadian Institute of Health Research (CIHR), Biochemistry, Health Research Methods, Evidence & Impact, Anesthesia and Nursing

Program support for: All internal and external funding opportunities.

Provides pre award assistance, helps identify research funding opportunities and assists in the development of grant application, budgets, and knowledge translation strategies. Ensures that proposals, commitments, and acquired signatures comply with University policies, and conform to the criteria and guidelines of the program sponsor.

Research Information Systems Coordinator

Provides research funding and performance data for FHS while also providing guidance to all HRS staff regarding data integrity and data compliance.

Provides administrative and financial support to core facilities based in the Faculty of Health Sciences.

Primary contact for: Contracts and Agreements for Anesthesia, Medicine, Oncology, Pathology, Radiology and Surgery.

Negotiates research agreements with funding agencies and collaborators for the Faculty of Health Sciences grant funded projects.

Agreements Officer

Primary contact for: Biochemistry, Family Medicine, Health Research Methods, Evidence & Impact, Nursing, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, and Rehabilitation Science.
